Final Mailing of MPR Notices, Cash and SNAP REDE Notices from Legacy System

Action Memo

Summary

  • The production of the Legacy system centrally generated Redetermination Application (Form 1893), Mid-Point Report (MPR) (Form 2890), AABD Redetermination Report (Form 643GC) and TANF Eligibility Information (Form 4002c) has stopped due to the implementation of IES Phase 2.
  • The final Form 1893 REDE notices from the Legacy system were produced in September with a Date of Notice 10/04/17. SNAP benefits for this mailing are expiring November 2017.
  • The first IES version Form 1893 will be mailed on 10/31/2017. This notice is for SNAP and/or Cash benefits expiring December 2017. For the TANF and SNAP program, an interview is required at REDE. Auto-Redetermination does not apply to Cash or SNAP REDEs. 
  • The final Mid-Point Report (Form 2890) generated by the Legacy system was mailed on 10/19/17 for TANF Cash and SNAP cases in Mid-Point Reporting. Form 2890 is due to the FCRC by 11/05/17. If Form 2890 is returned by the customer and changes are reported, make the appropriate change effective for December 2017. If Form 2890 is not returned by the due date, eligibility does not exist for TANF Cash and SNAP.
  • The first IES version of the Mid-Point Report (Form 2890) will be mailed on 11/16/17. Form 2890 is due to the FCRC 12/05/17. If the customer returns Form 2890 and changes are reported, make the appropriate change effective January 2018. If Form 2890 is not returned by the due date, eligibility does not exist for TANF Cash and SNAP. 
  • The final Form 4002c to be generated out of the Legacy system will be produced in October with a Date of Notice 11/04/17 for TANF benefits expiring November 2017.
  • AABD Cash Redetermination (Form 643GC) will be discontinued after the mailing on 10/20/17. Form 643GC is due to the FCRC 11/10/17.
  • Notices generated out of the Legacy system do not have barcodes.
  • The applicable Mobius reports will be produced for these notices and then the reports will be discontinued.
  • Staff should refer to the IES Phase 2 Go Live Transition Guide for the most recent updates information and instructions of how to process a Mid-Point Report form or REDE in IES.

Legacy System Notices
