Please see the attached flier and plan to attend one of the webinar sessions for Part 1 and Part 2. There are limited logins for the webinars.
As communicated in the attached Save the Date flier, GATA is offering FY18 Fall Training in a 2-Part Series. From the GATA home page,
https://www.illinois.gov/sites/GATA/Pages/default.aspx, utilize "Click Here to Register for the GATA Training!" to register for the first sessions of Part 1 (Tuesday 9/26) and Part 2 (Wednesday 9/27). Separate registrations are required for each session. Registration links for the additional dates will be provided from the GATA home page next week.
This training is targeted to State of Illinois grantees and state agency staff (program and fiscal) with grant responsibilities. Group participation is strongly encouraged due to system registration limitations.
The training objectives for this FY18 Fall training are to: 1) Answer common questions regarding budgeting, indirect cost rates and applying indirect cost rates, 2) Highlight implementation of the post-award grant phase, and 3) Emphasize roles and responsibilities in pre- and post-award grant management. It is recommended that individuals participate in Part 1 prior to Part 2.
This training will build upon previous webinars provided by the Grant Accountability and Transparency Unit. All participants should complete the following pre-requisites prior to attending FY18 Fall Training:
- 3/9/16 Pre-award training - Basic Considerations, Selected Items of Cost, and
- 5/12/16 Budget Training for Grantees
- 3/9/16 Uniform Budget Template & Indirect Cost Rates, and
- 5/25/16 Applying the Indirect Cost Rates to the Budget
