Question 1: Can a list of the current MBE/WBE/DBE and Veteran owned businesses currently providing service to the TDF under the current vendor be provide?
Response 1: N/A
Question 2: We note the goal of 15% to include business owned and controlled by minorities, females and persons with disability in the resulting contract. Is this goal recommended or required to award of this contract?
Response 2: The goal is recommended. DHS would like to see proof of a good faith effort.
Question 3: Please provide a list of facility approved by the DHS that conduct background investigations, finger printing and urinalysis testing.
Response 3: Currently the following vendors are utilized, but others may be utilized if agreed on. Thomson-Reuters, Accurate-Biometrics, Culbertson Hospital.
Question 4: Please confirm that the vendor has no responsibility for the cost of pharmaceuticals.
Response 4: Please refer to pg. 15-16 3. Pharmacy Services. Medication received from McFarland Pharmacy would be the responsibility of DHS. All other medication, specifically, (g.) "Vendor shall use approved local pharmacy for medication not available through McFarland Mental Health Center Pharmacy." Note- this would be the initial responsibility of the vendor, but would be handled as a pass-thru charge to DHS. This shall be the policy unless specifically stated elsewhere. (Example - pg. 18. 3. Dialysis Services specifies for drugs associated with dialysis services.
Question 5: Please confirm that the vendor has no responsibility for the cost of off-site services.
Response 5: Note- this would be the initial responsibility of the vendor, but would be handled as a pass-thru charge to DHS.

Question 20: Please clarify is the clinical or attending psychiatrist is responsible for the prescribing and review of psychotropic mediation for this contract?
Response 20: Yes
Question 21: Please provide the number of chronically mentally ill residents according to IDHS monthly for the past 12 months.
Response 21: Currently 230 residents are on psychotropic medication (approx. 41%)
Question 22: Please further describe the intended scope of service for the attending psychiatrist.
Response 22: Psychiatrist is considered "clinical"
Question 23: Please provide a comparison/difference of duties of the clinical and attending psychiatrist.

Question 24: What is the Current Offender Management System?
Response 24: Unclear to what vendor is referring to. Need more clarification.
Question 25: May the Strike Contingency Plan be submitted upon award?

Response 29: There will be one awarded vendor for medical services. There maybe multiple vendor awards for the alternate services. See section Part II: IDHS Scope of Services, E. - Additional Medical Services
