"How Do I Remove My Applicant from the Waitlist":

You may need to remove your applicant from the waitlist if they no longer are working with your agency, no longer require SRN matching and referral services, have obtained housing or wish to be removed from the waitlist.

To do this you will enter the main page of your participant's application.

  1. Click the blue highlighted, underlined link that says, 'Status: Waiting Approved'.
  2. Click the appropriate reason that you are removing your client, e.g. 'Removed: Withdrawn By Applicant'.
  3. Click on the button, at the bottom of the page that says, 'Click here to continue'.
  4. Refresh your browser.

Congratulations! You have successfully removed the participant from the waitlist. If you have questions or would like additional help, please contact Alexis DeWeese at alexis.deweese@illinois.gov.

Feel free to contact Lore Baker at lore.baker@illinois.gov or Alexis DeWeese at alexis.deweese@illinois.gov to request guidance and information on how to access and use the PAIR module, Section 811 PRA waitlist, SRN waitlist or ILHousingSearch.org.

Service Provider Tip: #1

When you regularly update or remove waitlist applicants that are no longer receiving your services or in need of housing, you increase the odds that another SRN waitlist applicant in need of affordable supportive housing will have a successful match and obtain housing even sooner!

Service Provider Tip #2:

Make it a habit to add all of the consumers you begin working with, to find supportive affordable housing to the waiting list that is within the ILHousingSearch.org website, as soon as you begin working with them!

BELOW ARE STATEWIDE REFERRAL NETWORK (SRN) UNITS THAT ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. THESE UNITS DON'T HAVE ANY PERSONS ON OUR ONLINE WAITING LIST OR PRE-SCREENING, ASSESSMENT, INTAKE & REFERRAL (PAIR) MODULE THAT HAVE SELECTED TO LIVE IN THESE COMMUNITIES AND FIT THE CRITERIA.

These aren't the only SRN units available, just the units that don't currently have referrals. In order for your consumers to have access to all of the available SRN units every month, they have to be entered into the PAIR module or waiting list.
