Action Item Review

List the most important action items per group

Certification

  • Reviewed and reduced Certification checklist down to 45 pages to help make the entire process more efficient
  • Sent checklist to BALC to ensure they will be able to utilize the reduced checklist in their certification review process
  • Anticipate sending final draft to Directors of DMH, DASA and HFS for review and approval
  • Anticipate sending to providers the first week of August
  • Developing webinar set for July 29, 2016 for the providers that will cover an overview of the checklist, answer any questions regarding the certification and/or selection process and discuss data and reporting requirements

PPS (Prospective Payment System)

  • Gabriela Moroney informed project team and stakeholders that she will be leaving HFS for another position as of July 29, 2016. Shawn Cole will be assuming her duties as they relate to CCBHC
  • Gabriela Moroney submitted final drafts to Director for review and approval

Data and Reporting

  • Continue to Discuss and identify quality measures focused around integrated health to include
  • SAMHSA help its second of 8 webinars focused on data and reporting and the specifications. This webinar was for the states only, but the webinar set for August 2, 2016 will be for both the state and providers
  • Continue to review quality measure specifications and will be identifying and pulling in SME's in the data field and providers on potential barriers or obtaining and reporting certain data measures

Services Coordination Group

  • Developed a weighted scoring scale for the Provider Selection Criteria and added another criteria focused on claims data and the percentage/ratio of crisis services to intake assessments
  • Anticipate bringing form in from of Interagency Coordination Group for review and approval on 8/1/16
  • Group will focus on governance requirements and processes, staffing plans and site selection

Steering Committee

  • Reviewing all quality measure documentation sent out by SAMHSA regarding specifications and providing the needed guidance and TA timely.
