Action Item Review

Certification

  • RFI Summary Review on 4/19
  • Reviewed Cumulative scores from readiness tools and initially identified TA/trainings
  • Continue to review RFI information and add detail to review grid
  • Consumer Survey was sent 4/18/16
    • Distributed to several email group list, DMH and DASA providers, a paper copy will also be available
    • We will give a month for response, but will look at them as they return
  • Received DASA crosswalk for DASA 2060 to CCBHC certification criteria and waiting for DMH crosswalk to be completed
  • Reviewed Provider Selection Criteria draft on 4/21

PPS

  • Reviewed initial compilation of DMH and DASA special populations
    • Waiting on new Medical Director to complete certain special populations
  • Danny Silbert to begin research and gain more insight into Outlier payments to help facilitate and move that discussion forward

Data and Reporting

  • SAMHSA sent out a communication on 4/11/16 informing the State that 11 of the original required 32 quality measures will be removed for the CCBHC grant due to the change in landscape, timing, and resource allocation.
    • Will discuss with trades during the Information advisory Council on 4/26 to get feedback from providers regarding if any of the 11 quality measures removed, should in fact remain.

Sub Work Group-Interagency Coordination Group

  • This group is now a regular standing working group
  • Renamed Services Coordination work group
  • The next meeting is 4/25
  • Members of the Steering Committee have been invited to participate
  • The tasks the group will focus on
    • Coordination of grant activities at the state level
    • Establish CCBHC governance requirements
    • Establish required EBPs
    • Establish staffing requirements
    • Select CCBHC sites

Steering Committee

  • Lora Thomas and Danny Silbert met with the chairs on 4/19/16 to finalize agenda and answer any remaining questions
  • Next Steering Committee meeting is Tuesday 4/26/16 from 2:00pm-4:00pm

Potential Barriers

Certification

  • Lack of resources to enter the information from the paper-based version of the consumer survey

PPS

  • Working with MCO's and getting data to generate the cost reports
  • Providers don't have systems to analyse data for them. They send out to bill for services

Data and Reporting

  • Timing of SAMHSA when the comparison groups are chosen
  • Timing when the quality measures definitions are sent out
  • Measures have not been approved by OMB
