    1. Expungement Study Recommendations
Carolyn Frazier explained the Expungement Study recommendations to the Committee. The latest draft of the report was distributed to all Commission members with requests for comments and edits. The group discussed the recommendations. Commissioner Jacobs inquired as to whether the report, in particular whether the recommendations are intended to stand on their own? If so, then she would like further explanation added to those. Ms. Frazier replied that they were and she welcomed any feedback for clarification. Ms. Frazier explained that the current report will need further edits prior to release. Commissioner Jacobs motioned to approve the reports' current recommendations with the understanding that the Commission will have final review and editing ability prior to its release. Commissioner Velasquez seconded the motion. All in favor, motion passed. It was noted that the Committee believes the report has the proper focus and they commended Ms. Frazier for her work on the study.
  6. Report Publication Costs
Ms. Frazier explained that she and Commissioner Biehl have contacted a few agencies and the quote to print and share the report is approximately $25,000. She asked the Committee to share any other contacts they had for additional quotes. Commissioner Velasquez is concerned with what exactly the $25,000 covers. Chairman Timberlake explained that a detailed request will be needed for the full Commission to be able to review and make a determination on release and distribution of the report. A more detailed quote and request for funding will be submitted.
