12/22/2014
The SNAP E&T office is now a specialty office and is no longer responsible for determining ongoing SNAP and Medical eligibility. This change will allow the SNAP E&T office in Chicago to focus on SNAP E&T functions.
Effective 12/12/14, active cases are being centrally transferred from the SNAP E&T FCRC to the office serving the case address. Client Notice (CN)14.19ES (pdf)/(CN) 14.19 (pdf) will be sent during the week of Decemeber 15th notifying the customers of the change in the FCRC managing their case.
E&T sanctions occuring in Cook County will now be processed by the Mid South FCRC and not by the FCRC where the case will be located. FCRCs downstate will continue to process SNAP E&T sanctions.
Miscellaneous references to Food Stamp Employment and Training (FS E&T) and Chicago General Assistance (GA) are deleted.
