Summary:
- Hyperlinks added to the Cash, SNAP and Medical Manual
Due to the number of changes required as a result of the Affordable Care Act, the Integrated Eligibility System and other federal and state regulatory changes, Healthcare and Family Services (HFS), Bureau of Medical Eligibility and Special Programs (BMESP), has been unable to keep the medical component of the Cash, SNAP and Medical Policy Manual current. New policy has been published as policy memoranda and Medical Morsels which can be more difficult to locate.
To better ensure ready access to updated information, HFS-BMESP has added hyperlinks to the manual pages. These hyperlinks connect to the policy memo or Medical Morsel that explain the new policy revelant to that page in the manual. This will be an on-going process until we issue the manual releases that include the updated information.
