ADA Distance Learning Session: Extracurricular Athletic Opportunities for Students with Disabilities: Understanding the Issues

The Bureau of Accessibility and Job Accommodation (BAJA) and the Illinois ADA Project host an ADA Distance Learning session on "Extracurricular Athletic Opportunities for Students with Disabilities: Understanding the Issues." This session will discuss the recent guidance provided by the Office for Civil Rights clarifying public elementary and secondary schools obligations under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 to provide extracurricular athletic opportunities for students with disabilities.
