Summary:
- Only the English version of the 'Using Your Medical Card' brochure was inserted with the new annual HFS Medical Cards that were mailed from the Comptroller's office in February and March 2013.
- To rectify the error, the Spanish brochure, along with a client notice, is being mailed to the cases that should have received the Spanish version.
Implementation of new annual HFS Medical card began in February 2013, see MR #13.06: Annual HFS Medical Cards. Due to a system problem, only the English version of the HFS 591MC, Using Your Medical Card (pdf) brochure, was inserted with the new annual HFS Medical Cards that were mailed from the Comptroller's office. To rectify the error, the Spanish brochure, HFS 591MCS (pdf), along with CN 13.10S (pdf), is being mailed to the cases that should have received the Spanish version.
