Using "Go To Webinar"

  • Before joining, be sure to check system requirements to avoid any connection issues.
  • You need to pre-register and have Internet access.
  • To record your webinar attendance and receive the "thank you for attending" email after the webinar, do not use the same email address for multiple registrants.
  • After you register, you will receive an email with a login link and phone numbers from "GoToWebinar."
  • On the day of the webinar, use the login link from the email to connect to the Webinar (you may get better audio using your telephone).
  • You can select "Use Telephone" after joining the Webinar. You must enter the three access numbers that was sent via email:
    1. Telephone number (not toll-free).
    2. Access code number.
    3. PIN#.
  • The phone number, access code and PIN# can also be accessed through the GoToWebinar control panel.
  • You can use your computer's audio. When the webinar begins, you will be connected to audio using your computer's microphone and speakers (VoIP). A headset is recommended.
  • Due to the large number of participants, please use the "questions feature" to communicate questions and comments.
  • For registration assistance, please email DHS.BQM@illinois.gov or call (217) 782-9438.
  • For issues connecting to GoToWebinar, call the GoToWebinar support at 1-888-259-8414 and listen for message options "having trouble connecting" to a Webinar session.

Note: you will need to know the GoToWebinar 9-digit ID number at the bottom of your confirmation email.
