This month's success story focuses on Byron Harden, Owner and Producer of On the Moon Recording Studios. Byron, who has been visually impaired since contracting Steven's Johnston at the age of 7, has always had a passion for playing music. Coincidentally, he has been a recipient of DRS Services for the same amount of time, starting with services from the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired.
Recently Byron had an opportunity to explain his passion to his DRS Senior Rehabilitation Counselor Misty Bell. Misty realized the possibilities of Byron becoming self employed and the two started the process together.
After a great deal of consultation and hard work, Byron's passion for music and dream of becoming a producer finally turned into a reality.
