DJJ Data for RFP Applicants (pdf)
Source: ICJIA analysis of IDJJ data
Note: "Court" admission to parole indicates the initial release from DJJ to the community. "Technical" admission to parole indicates the youth had been re-incarcerated and was then re-released to the community. Because of this distinction, the "technical" admission rate includes youth already counted in the "court" admission column of the same or earlier year. Project should seek to serve all paroled youth, whether a "court" or "technical" admission to parole. However, actual numbers will be slightly lower than the sum of the two types of admissions because of the duplicative count of youth paroled from a facility, revoked, re-incarcerated, and re-paroled later in the same year.
