MR #11.02: Victims of Trafficking

Summary:

• Noncitizens classified as victims of trafficking meet the noncitizen requirement for cash, medical, and SNAP benefits. See PM 03-01-02-d and PM 03-01-03-c.  This category has been expanded to include minor children, spouses, parents, and siblings of victims of trafficking.
• Victims of trafficking and their minor child, spouse, parent, or sibling are eligible for time-limited SSI. They may qualify for the $500 AABD allowance when SSI eligibility is lost or denied. 

• Adds minor child, spouse, parent, or sibling of the trafficking victim to Item 74, Citizenship, which is used to identify the citizenship/immigration status of persons receiving cash, medical, or SNAP.
