Purpose of Meeting
The purpose of this meeting is to review the technical requirements of the IITAA Implementation Guidelines for Web-Based Information and Applications 1.0. The workgroup will consider change proposals for a revised version of IITAA and map out a strategy for the development of the revised version. Any revisions to IITAA will include public requests for comments, so this meeting is only the beginning of the revision process. The revised version may include requirements for specific technologies like Adobe PDF, Flash, Audio, Video, and DHTML technologies.
Who Should Participate
Developers and managers who are familiar with the implementation of the current IITAA requirements and knowledgeable in web technologies are encouraged to participate - especially those interested in Adobe PDF, Flash, audio, video, and JavaScript technologies.
Note: This meeting is not intended as a time to learn about IITAA requirements or learn about how to use IITAA to design accessible web pages. The purpose is to look at potential changes to the IITAA web accessibility standards based on current implementation experience and changes in the use of web technologies during the past three years.
