Continuing on the Path to Success- Sarah's Journey

The Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Rehabilitation assists individuals with disabilities to live full and productive lives, in part through the provision and access to services such as education, training, and employment. Last year the Division helped more than 5500 individuals with disabilities achieve an employment outcome.

For many youth with disabilities, the services and supports provided through DRS can be a bridge to opportunities, advancement and skill development not thought possible. Sarah Smith is one such individual who has utilized the supports of education and training to carve her path to success by helping others.
