Information Memo: Annual WIC Notice 2010

Title 42 of the Code of Federal Regulations section 431.635(d)(2) requires the mailing of an annual notice regarding the Women Infants and Children (WIC) program. CN/S 10.09 (pdf) is being inserted with the September 2010 medical cards in categories 94, 96, 04, 06, 07 (Family and Children Assistance), P4, P6, 92, 93, 02, 03 and P3 for households containing a pregnant woman, a woman who has had a baby in the past 6 months, a woman who is breast feeding a child under age 1 or children under age 5. Excluded from this mailing are customers receiving long term care and Transitional Assistance under the GA program.

CN/S 10.09 is also being sent to households with cases in unmet spenddown status.
