MR #10.12: Administrative Renewals for Family Health Plans

Summary:

  • Places policy and procedures about administrative renewals (formerly called passive renewals) for Family Health Plans into the manual.
  • Administrative renewals only apply to children on Family Assist, All Kids Assist, Share and Premium Level 1 cases; special procedures are in place for cases that include both children and adults.
  • For children, the family is only required to return the renewal form if they have changes to report.
  • If the family reports changes in income or spousal or child support paid, proof is required.
  • Certain cases are excluded from the administrative renewal process.
  • This release also updates WAG to inform staff that Item 41, Date of Death, may be entered when canceling a one person TANF or Family Health Plan case.
