Introduction

The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) provides person-first services and supports to people with developmental disabilities and their families.  Services and supports are delivered through contractual service agreements with more than 350 community service providers.  Services and supports may include:

  • In-Home Supports
  • Respite Care
  • Training Programs
  • Job Coaches
  • Residential Living Arrangements
  • Adaptive Equipment

DDD supports these providers through training and technical assistance on training-related issues. This manual is designed to help community service providers navigate the Illinois training requirements, class offerings, continuing education credits, and the training reimbursement process.  Questions about information in this manual should be directed to:
