MR #09.25: Change in FS Standards

Summary:

Effective October 1, 2009, Federal law provides for a change in the following standards to the determine eligibility and benefit amounts:

• Increase in Maximum Gross and Net Income Standards.
• Increase in Standard Deduction amount for FS units with 4 or more members.
• Maximum Excess Shelter Deduction is increased to $459.
• Updates the Basis of Issuance Tables.
• The Standard Deduction amount for FS units with 1 to 3 members is decreased from $144 to $141 due to the rate of inflation.
• We are including a flyer to be used as an office poster and handout.
