MR #09.17: Central Change of Address Process

Summary:

Starting 06/22/09 EZ REDE cases will no longer be sent Form 3462, Request for Shelter Costs Due to an Address Change, when an address is changed using TA 31/TAR 42.
Cases in EZ REDE will no longer have their shelter costs zeroed out if Item 80 code 665 ADR is not deleted.
The utility deduction Item 80 Code 349 UTIL, will no longer be zeroed out when the unit does not respond to Form 3462.
FS units in EZ REDE do not have to verify housing costs due to a move. Make the reported change in housing costs and verify at the next REDE. Item 80 Code 665 ADR will stay on the case as an alert to the worker that they should request verification of housing costs at REDE.
Form 3462, Request for Proof in Housing Costs, is revised.
