MR #09.11 Removing Manual References to the Offline Benefit Process

Summary:

  • Identifying stale Illinois Link accounts and taking stale cash and food stamp benefits offline ended 09/08/08.
  • Effective May 8, 2009 customers can no longer request that benefits that went offline prior to 09/08/08 be reissued.  The Request to Reissue Illinois Link Benefits (Form 3663) is obsolete.
  • The Offline Claims Offset Notice (Form 4593) is also obsolete.
  • TAR 40 with a TA 56 issuing mercury offline food stamp benefits is obsolete effective 05/08/09.
  • TAR 64 with a TA 28 and TAR 28 with TA 14, 31, 40, and 41 are obsolete and no longer valid for TANF or AABD.
  • Benefits will be removed (expunged) from the Illinois Link account if not used by the 365th day.
  • If there is an outstanding overpayment claim, the amount of benefits expunged will be credited toward the claim. Cash benefits will be credited for a cash overpayment; Food Stamp benefits will be credited for a Food Stamp overpayment.
