Summary:

• The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) also known as the Stimulus Bill provides the benefits listed below:
  • Federal Additional Compensation (FAC) $25 per week for Unemployment Insurance Benefits (UIB);
  • Economic Recovery Payments for persons receiving Social Security, Railroad Retirement Benefits, Supplemental Security Income or Veterans Benefits;
  • WWII veterans benefit;
  • Premium Assistance for COBRA;
  • Making Work Pay Tax Credit; and
  • Tax Credit for Certain Government Retirees.
• Interim budgeting procedures for FAC are in place until system changes are complete.
