MR #08.29: Payment Level Increase

Summary:

The cash payment level for TANF, Refugee and GA-FCA cases is increasing by 9%.
The system will recalculate active cases for the November 2008 regular roll and will issue Notice of Change (Form 157C) if food stamps decrease.
For cases on the regular roll at the close of October Schedule 09, the system will calculate the amount of the increase owed for the months of July, August, September and/or October and issue one mercury amount.
CN 08.16 CASH ASSISTANCE INCREASE (pdf) will be inserted with November 2008 medical cards to notify customers of the increase.
The Family Assist medical program income standards, which are based on TANF standards, will increase effective November 2008.
Family Health Plan program names are updated on the revised manual pages.
