MR #08.19: Purge Case Records Protocol

Summary:

  • Procedure for transferring purged records to storage is revised as the result of an audit recommendation.
  • Attach either, FCRC Closed/Denied Case Record Storage Box Contents (Form 1640), or a copy of an MIS generated purge report, to Records Transfer Sheet (Form 4199).
  • Fax or mail completed Form 4199, with attached listing of purged records, to Records Administration. Retain copies in the FCRC.
  • It is not necessary to place a listing of contents inside boxes transferred to storage.
