  • Qualifying member SNAP households who participate in the Pay-in Spenddown process and make a cash payment to meet their spenddown qualify to use the payment as a medical expense deduction for SNAP. The Pay-In Spenddown Unit handles:
    • Pay-In Spenddown Enrollment forms (enrolling customer into Pay-In Program). Pay-In Spenddown Enrollment forms must be mailed to the address on the form.
    • Statements (payments made to be applied toward Spenddown). Payments will be returned if the customer is not enrolled in the Pay-In Spenddown Program. Payments must be submitted with the Pay-In Spenddown Statement and mailed to the address on the form.
  • A customer may reprint a Pay-In Spenddown Statement through Manage My Case (or MMC) if one has been previously generated.
