On screen 1B-Screener Subsystem or Screen 1C-Single Contact Interview, a TAP question and two fields appear as shown below.
- "IS THIS AN APPLICATION FOR FHP OR TANF SUBMITTED BY A All Kids APPLICATION AGENT VIA REALBENEFITS ON FORM 2378B? (Y/N):___"
- "IF YES, ENTER KCAA PROVIDER NUMBER:000000000000"
- "DATE SIGNED BY THE APPLICANT:MMDDYYYY"
When a Form 2378B is received with the TAP checklist attached, the TAP fields on screen 1B/1C must be entered at registration. If the application contains a request for one of the Family Health Plans or TANF, is from an AKAA, and was completed using
RealBenefits®, answer the new TAP question "Y." Answering "Y" requires entry of a valid provider number and the date the application was signed by the applicant. The DATE SIGNED BY APPLICANT field applies to the Form 2378MC application. Although an entry
is required in this field for Form 2378B, it is for informational purposes only. The application date for Form 2378B is the date it is received by the correct FCRC.
To be considered for the TAP, the AKAA must provide a valid provider number on the TAP checklist. If the provider number entered from the TAP checklist comes back as invalid, delete the invalid number. Do not try to get a corrected number; the AKAA is
not eligible for the TAP. Change the answer to "N" on the new TAP question and continue registering the application. Document that the provider number is not valid, and the application is not registered as a TAP application. This information will be
helpful if there is an inquiry by the AKAA about the missing TAP.
At registration, AIS assigns a TAP tracking number. The tracking number prevents multiple TAP payments from being approved when an application splits into two or more cases. The tracking number appears on the Summary of Actions to be Taken and the
Summary of Actions Taken screens.
If a Medicaid Presumptively Eligible (MPE) application has been processed for the applicant, the new TAP question and fields from Screen 1B/1C will appear when the Type Action 10, Type Action Reason 47 is processed. All Kids subsystem users do not
need to process an administrative denial and re-register the application to enter the TAP information.
When the new TAP question in screens 1B/1C is answered "Yes," a new question as shown below will appear on the Option 8-Case Cooperation Screen for all category 94/96 and 04/06 applications. A new HELP screen can be viewed from the Case Cooperation
screen. The HELP screen prompt is F10 and lists the TAP denial codes and reasons (see WAG 17-06-04).
- "IS THE KCAA ELIGIBLE FOR PAYMENT? (Y/N):___"
- "IF NO, REASON CODE(S) FOR DENIAL:___"
