Under the supervision of the Family Planning Program, two male involvement projects are in place - Options for Youth and Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation.The programs are designed to increase awareness and access to reproductive health information and family planning services to both adolescent and adult males in Chicago.
Options for Youth places emphasis on adolescents living on Chicago's south side, while Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation's main focus is on connecting men with primary care providers and to ensure that their clients receive education on sexually transmitted diseases with a special emphasis on HIV/AIDS.
