Revised Administrative Rule 2060 Open Public Comment

The attached Smart Alert from Laura Garcia, Director of the Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (IDHS/SUPR) addresses the formal adoption process of a revised new rule that will replace the current Part 2060. The title of the new rule will still be Part 2060 and the process and timeframe for submitting comments or feedback is identified in the Smart Alert.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery is to provide a recovery oriented system of care along the continuum of prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery support where individuals with SUD, those in recovery and those at risk are valued and treated with dignity and where stigma, accompanying attitudes, discrimination, and other barriers to recovery are eliminated.
