IDHS: Policy Memo: Passive Renewals for Family Health Plans

Beginning with renewals mailed in February 2006 and due April 2006, Assist and Share/Premium cases will begin a passive renewal process for children;

The family is only required to return the renewal form if they have changes to report;

If the family reports changes in income or spousal or child support paid, proof is required;

Certain cases will be excluded from the passive REDE process; and

Special procedures are developed for cases that include both children and adults.
