MR #05.34: Determining Hours of Participation in TANF & FSE&T Work & Training Activities

Summary:

• Effective 10/17/05, due to a change in State law, use the state minimum wage of $6.50 when determining the number of hours a client must participate in TANF Work Experience and Work First.
• Starting 10/17/05, use the state minimum wage to decide the number of hours a person must work in FSE&T Earnfare, Work Experience, and Community Work activities.
• This change supports the HCD mission to provide benefits and services that are more beneficial in helping the client to achieve self-sufficiency.
