WAG 24-03-00: Child Support Enforcement Process in the Family Community Resource Center

PM 24-03-00

(FCRC) Gather information about CSE activities and report it to DCSE.

NOTE: All Kids Applications have special procedures which do not require gathering child support enforcement information.

All Kids Application

When the Family Community Resource Center receives a All Kids Application (Form 2378MC or Form 2378KC), do not do a client interview. Since a client interview is not done, the status of the father/child relationship (paternity) may be unknown. Do not call or contact the client in any manner to get paternity information.

Do a child support clearance. If the clearance shows information on the father/alleged father of the child, code Item 63 as appropriate. If the clearance does not show the name of the father/alleged father, enter Code 32 for the father on the child's line in Item 63.

A case determined eligible for All Kids Assist or Moms and Babies, with Code 32 in Item 63, is referred to DCSE for a paternity interview. Do not do a paternity interview for this case.

A case determined eligible for All Kids Share, All Kids Premium, or All Kids Rebate, with Code 32 in Item 63, is not referred to DCSE for a paternity interview. Do not do a paternity interview for this case.
