The State Online Query (SOLQ) system is an SSA inquiry system that allows Department staff direct online
access to SSA information. Information from SSA in response to the inquiry is available immediately.
The SOLQ system is used to verify information about SSA, SSI, Medicare and disability to determine initial and ongoing eligibility for cash, medical or SNAP benefits. Information provided by SOLQ is to be used strictly for the
administration of these programs.
The SOLQ system does not replace BENDEX, BEER or SDX data exchanges.
Send a written notice to the client if the response from SSA results in reduced or canceled benefits, or an increase in the spenddown amount.
