WAG 22-01-01-s: Account Adjustments

An adjustment of benefits may have to be made when an Illinois Link account is activated with the incorrect PIN or there is an account discrepancy.

  1. (Customer) Completes and signs Illinois Link Account Adjustment Request IL444-4048.
  2. (Illinois Link Coordinator) Recommends action to be taken and signs the Illinois Link Account Adjustment Request Form IL444-4048.
  3. (FCRC) revised textEmail Illinois Link Account Adjustment Request Form IL444-4048 to the EBT Unit at DHS.Link@Illinois.gov
  4. (EBT Unit) Reviews adjustment request.
  5. (EBT Unit) Approves or denies request.
  6. (EBT Unit) Notifies the Family Community Resource Center of the action taken.

    NOTE: If benefits are being reissued/restored, it may take 10-14 days for the benefits to be posted to the Illinois Link account. 

  7. (FCRC) Notifies the customer of the action taken.
