WAG 20-24-02: Leaving an MCO

PM 20-24-02.

A client can leave (disenroll from) an MCO by contacting either the MCO or the Health Benefits and All Kids Hotline. A client in the Recipient Restriction Program may disenroll from an MCO, but must immediately choose another primary care provider or MCO.

  1. Give a client who wants to disenroll from an MCO the phone number of the Health Benefits and All Kids Hotline, 1-800-226-0768.
  2. The Bureau of Contract Management disenrolls member(s).
