SUBJECT: Important Action Required - Upcoming Upgrade to Your Stand-Beside WIC POS System

Action Required: Transition to TotilPay POS
As part of an ongoing commitment to enhancing your payment processing experience, Optum Financial, formerly Solutran LLC, will replace your existing Point of Sale (POS) device with a TotilPay POS system, operated by Farmers Food Assistance Bureau (FFAB). This upgrade will provide a seamless and efficient modern point-of-sale solution.
FFAB will email detailed instructions on how to sign up for the new equipment. You must complete this process to receive your replacement device.
This upgrade will not result in any additional costs to you now. The TotilPay POS system, including the replacement stand-beside device and its associated services, is provided at no cost. As part of this transition, there will be no new or increased transaction or service fees, and your existing agreements will remain unchanged.
We appreciate your attention to this matter and encourage you to watch for upcoming communications from FFAB. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We also want to take this opportunity to encourage authorized vendors to convert their WIC payment process to an integrated cash register system that allows vendors to accept multiple forms of payment with a single Electronic Cash Register (ECR). Information about the benefits of using an integrated system, a list of the Integrated POS Providers certified to process eWIC in Illinois, and instructions on converting systems can be found on our website at IDHS: eWIC Information for Vendors.
