Reopen a denied SNAP REDE application if by the 30th day after the end of the approval period, the applicant:
- completes the missed eligibility interview; or
- provides missing verifications.
If the client cooperates before the end of the current approval period, reopen the application and provide a full month's benefits for the first month of the new period.
If the client cooperates after the end of the approval period but within 30 days of the end of the period, reopen the application and prorate benefits from the date of cooperation.
For example, if a client whose approval period ends on 06/30 provides missing income verification on 07/15, reopen the application and prorate benefits from 07/15.
