PM 19-03-05-b: Cash and Medical Units

WAG 19-03-05-b.

The notice of expiration requirements for TANF, AABD, RRA and Medical units approved via the regular rolls,  revised manual textand Mid-Point Reporting (MPR) Units (PM 19-07-01), are as follows:

  • REDEs (Cash/Medical and SNAP) Completed More Than 60 Days Before End of SNAP Approval Period

    No notice of expiration is required when the Cash/Medical REDE and the SNAP REDE are completed at the same time, if they are completed more than 60 calendar days before the end of the SNAP approval period. 

  • REDEs (Cash/Medical and SNAP) Completed Within 60 Days of End of SNAP Approval Period

    Cash/SNAP units or Medical/SNAP units are centrally mailed a computer generated notice of expiration if the Cash/Medical REDE and the SNAP REDE are not completed together more than 60 calendar days before the end of the SNAP approval period. If both REDEs are not completed before the terminal cut-off date for the month after the last month of the SNAP approval period, the computer system cancels the SNAP case.
