Bridging Aging and Disabilities Survey for Organizations in the Aging and DD Networks
Thank you to those ISCs and providers who have already completed the above survey. We are hoping to have feedback from a few more providers and ISC before proceeding to develop trainings and resources for developmental disability and aging service providers and case managers to help support individuals with I/DD and caregivers who are aging.
Please complete this brief survey and share your experience, knowledge, and interest in making sure there is no wrong door to connect with aging and I/DD services.

ELECTRONIC VISIT VERIFICATION (EVV) COMPLIANCE OUTREACH AND TRAINING - ACES$
DDD would like to remind self-directed Home and Community-Based Supports (HCBS) consumers, families, and Self-Direction Assistants (SDAs) that ACES$ outreach regarding EVV compliance is on-going. Self-Direction Assistants are also encouraged to work with consumers and their families to ensure that they are EVV compliant and/or live-in exempt.
Personal Support Workers (PSWs) that do not have an approved live-in caregiver exemption are required to be EVV compliant per federal regulations. This means that the PSW is required to complete live clock-in and clock-out actions through the Care Attend App when providing services. PSWs who are considered non-compliant each month will receive outreach from ACES$ via a "3-strikes" model.
After 3 continuous months of non-compliance, a mandatory training link will be sent to the Employer of Record and the PSW. Failure to complete this training within 30 days will result in Division of Developmental Disabilities DDD outreach or action. DDD would like to stress that ACES$ outreach and trainings are intended to be educational and helpful in achieving program compliance. Once the training link quiz has been completed, the strike counter will be reset to give the PSW the opportunity to improve EVV compliance.
ACES$ offers free, live trainings to discuss EVV expectations and topics. HCBS families, PSWs, and Self-Direction Assistants are encouraged to attend. The next session is July 24, 2025. Learn more here: EVV Training
