PUNS SELECTION LETTERS HAVE BEEN MAILED:
On Monday July 14th the Division mailed 1,586 PUNS selection letters to those seeking services. These letters offer an invitation to apply for home and community-based services with the Division of Developmental Disabilities. The Division was able to select all adults eligible for selection with over 42 months of wait time on PUNS in the seeking category. These individuals will now work with their Independent Service Coordinators (ISC) to confirm their clinical and financial eligibility and pursue the services they require with the provider that best meets their needs.
GRANT AWARDEE ANNOUNCEMENT: Correction
Last week, the Division announced the awardees for the Dental Program, Epilepsy Program, Latino Outreach, and Family Advocate Program. The DDD Communication statement indicated that the grants were awarded for Fiscal Years (FY) 26 and 27. The correct award timeframe is FY26, FY27, and FY28. However, please note that the Dignity in Pay grantees will continue to receive funding from this NOFO for FY26 and FY27 only. These dates were accurately stated in the NOFO itself; the error occurred only in the DDD Communication. The previous posts have since been updated on the website to reflect the correct information. Please send questions to DHS.DDDComments@illinois.gov.
