DDD Communication | Epilepsy Program NOFO – Grantee Selection

Epilepsy Program - Grantee Selection

The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS), Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is pleased to announce the grantee(s) selected for the Epilepsy Program Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).

Organization(s) selected for the Epilepsy Program NOFO have demonstrated a strong commitment to provide individuals with epilepsy and their families a broad range of linkage, coordination, education, advocacy, and supportive services. The Epilepsy Program is meant to provide these services to individuals with epilepsy and their families who are not receiving other Home and Community Based Waiver funded services through any waivers operated by DDD or any other State Agency (Department on Aging (IDoA), Division of Rehabilitation Services (IDHS/DRS), Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC), etc.).

We extend our congratulations to the selected grantee(s) and look forward to working together throughout Fiscal Year (FY) 26, FY27, and FY28, to support individuals with epilepsy to achieve their optimal potential and independence.

DDD and its partners remain committed to supporting all providers in this effort, including those who were not selected for this NOFO, through technical assistance, training, learning opportunities, and additional resources designed to support the advancement of inclusive practices that align with the goals of the Epilepsy Program initiative.
