Bi-Monthly Update on OIG Operations
- Charles- Update on release on Audit FY 2024- tentative release date Nov. 2024; intake staff turnover due to change in process for the intake team
- Hiring range between 7month - 13 months for staff
- 10 investigator positions posted; 2 hired, 8 waiting for next process; another 40 investigators needed; total number of investigators currently 57; 23 pending; 8 starting tomorrow
- Megan Carlson- Deputy Inspector General last day is Oct.25th
- A new coordinator for boards has been hired
- Update on cameras being installed in facilities; no change
- Possibly installing cameras in CILAs
- Charles asked the board members if OIG should be expanding its focus
- Saul mentioned that cameras are approved by the Capital Development Board
- Do It is a component of the process in getting cameras installed because they coordinate the installation process
- Saul stated that agencies should be included in the claims of allegations being investigated
