Dignity in Pay NOFO - Grantee Selection
The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS), Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), is pleased to announce the grantees selected for the Dignity in Pay (DiP) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
Organizations selected for the DiP NOFO have demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) through the responsible phase out of their Subminimum Wage programs, expansion of programs designed to support CIE and overall transformation of programming.
We extend our congratulations to the selected grantees and look forward to working together throughout Fiscal Years 2026 and 2027, to promote inclusive, person-centered employment pathways that reflect the values of dignity, equity, and choice.
DDD and its partners remain committed to supporting all providers in this effort, including those who were not selected for this NOFO, through technical assistance, training, learning opportunities, and additional resources designed to support the advancement of inclusive and integrated employment practices that align with the goals of the Dignity in Pay initiative.
