SPECIALTY TELEHEALTH AND ASSESSMENT TEAM (STAT) SERVICE NOW OFFERED
For individuals living in 24 hour or Host Family Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILA), a new service, the Specialty Telehealth and Assessment Team (STAT) service is rolling out in May. The STAT service provides access to a remote telehealth assessment when the individual's primary care physician is unavailable, and a person is considering an emergency or urgent care visit with the goal of avoiding unnecessary trips to the emergency room. The STAT service assists individuals and providers to understand presenting health symptoms and to identify the most appropriate next steps. If an individual is interested in the service, they should reach out to their ISC case manager to put it in their plan and get them connected. The Specialty Telehealth and Assessment Team (STAT) Information Bulletin offers more detail about the service and how to sign up.
