On the Arc of Illinois' 75th Birthday, we appreciate the individuals, parents and family, and supportive members of The Arc who have fought to raise the voice of people with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) through their advocacy journey. SPECIALIZED TELEHEALTH AND ASSESSMENT TEAM (STAT) DRAFT INFORMATION BULLETIN (IB) AND STAT PROVIDER APPLICATION RELEASED.
Pursuant to Public Act 103-0593, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and was approved to add a new service through the Adults with Developmental Disabilities Waiver for individuals receiving residential services through 24 hour and Host Family Center for Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA), Specialized Telehealth and Assessment Team (STAT). The STAT service provides a remote telehealth assessment when the individual's primary care physician is unavailable, designed to coordinate individual's care with local emergency departments, urgent care facilities, primary care physicians, and other healthcare providers to enable real time medical support, consultation, and coordination on physical health issues.
Please review the Specialized Telehealth and Assessment Team (STAT) service DRAFT Information Bulletin. Comments on the draft can be submitted to DHS.DDDComments@Illinois.gov through 04/23/2025. Reference the title of the DRAFT IB in the subject line of the email.
Organizations interested in becoming a STAT provider must become an IMPACT provide and submit this STAT Provider Application to DHS.ClinicalServices@illinois.gov before beginning to provide services through the Adult DD Waiver.
DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL ONLINE TRAINING LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL IS LIVE!
Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS), Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for DD DSP Training Software RFP via BidBuy.

ILLINOIS MEDICAID PROGRAM: PROVIDER REVALIDATIONS
In accordance with Federal Regulation 42 CFR 455.414, all Medicaid providers are required to periodically revalidate their enrollment information. DDD IMPACT Provider revalidations will continue to occur through 2025. Providers requiring revalidation will receive e-mail notifications prior to the assigned due date. DDD Providers are encouraged to e-mail DHS.DDDMedProv@illinois.gov following the completion of the revalidation process for expedited modification approval. FY25 DDD SEP Revalidation - 3rd Notice
Since Fiscal Year 22 (FY22), the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) has conducted an annual Revalidation of all active authorizations for the DDD Supported Employment Program (SEP).
Active authorizations are those that were Revalidated in FY24 and any New/Initial DDD SEP authorizations approved from 7/1/24 through 3/31/25.
New/Initial authorizations approved on or after 4/1/25 are not subject to FY25 Revalidation and will carry over to FY26.
FY25 DDD SEP Revalidation will occur from April 1st, 2025, through end of business May 2nd, 2025.
