Summary:
- The Murdered Children Funeral and Burial Assistance Program maximum allowable disbursement amount is increased annually per the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers. (CPI-U).
- Effective July 1, 2025, the maximum allowable disbursement amount is increased from $10,300 to $10,578.
Due to implementation of PA 102-0754, the maximum allowable disbursement amount for the Murdered Children Funeral and Burial Assistance Program is increased annually with the CPI-U.
Effective July 1, 2025, the maximum allowable disbursement amount is increased to $10,578.
Maximum Disbursement Amount
The maximum allowable disbursement to a funeral establishment and cemetery authority on behalf of a child victim, including payments made from other agencies and sources, cannot exceed $10,578 for an occurrence between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026.
