WAG 18-04-11-b.
When a change in the cash or medical case occurs and there is insufficient information available to determine ongoing eligibility for SNAP, send a notice requesting the necessary information. Allow the SNAP unit 10 calendar days to return the information.
Take action to discontinue SNAP if the information is not provided. If there is not enough time to provide the client with a timely notice, continue benefits at the current level for one month.
If the client provides the information, but there is not enough time to continue SNAP benefits on the regular roll, authorize Mercury benefits for the effective month of the cash or medical cancellation. If necessary, issue a second month's Mercury
benefits.
