Increase benefits for the fiscal month following the fiscal month that the change is reported. Issue supplemental Mercury benefits if it is not possible to include the increase in the regular roll issuance.
Authorize supplemental benefits when:
- benefits should be increased for the month; and
- it is not possible to include the increase in the regular benefits.
Issue supplemental benefits so that the SNAP unit receives them no later than 10 calendar days following the mail date of the next regular SNAP benefits for which the change should have been made.
Provide past month's benefits to the unit if the fiscal month has ended. See PM 23-01-00 for restoring past month's benefits.
