Mental Health Response to Mass Firearm Violence Plan

Selected applicants will design and implement a local mental health response plan to mass shootings that is based on the recently released IDHS document, "A Mental Health Response to Mass Firearm Violence Plan (pdf)" (referred to as the Plan) that establishes a common framework to address the mental health needs of victims, their loved ones, and communities in the aftermath of a mass shooting. A brief video accompanies the Plan and illustrates how the new roles of Mental Health Response Lead and Mental Health Response Network could be implemented in each cluster area.
